FAQ
Got a question?
You’re not alone!
We’ve gathered some of the most common questions brides ask us before and during their bridal journey. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, just get in touch with us, we are more than happy to help you.
Do I need to book an appointment, or can I just pop in?
We recommend booking an appointment so we can give you our full attention. Walk-ins are welcome when we have space, but to avoid disappointment, it’s best to book ahead.
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 9–12 months before your wedding date. This gives plenty of time for your gown to be ordered, delivered, and tailored to perfection.
How long will my appointment be?
Your bridal appointment will last around 60–90 minutes – plenty of time to chat about your vision, try on some beautiful gowns, and (hopefully!) find the one.
Who should I bring with me?
We suggest bringing 2–3 people whose opinions you trust most. Our boutique is small and cosy, with limited seating – so keeping your group intimate not only works best for space but also makes the experience more focused on you.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Don’t stress if you forget something – we’ll guide you through everything. Comfy underwear, shoes, and your best people are all we’d recommend!
What sizes do you carry to try on?
We carry a wide range of samples between sizes 8–30, and gowns can be ordered in sizes 2–32. We also have plenty of tricks – like clips, panels, and creative styling – to help you see how a dress will look in your size.
How much do your dresses cost?
Our gowns typically range from £900 – £2200. We recommend allowing a little extra in your budget for alterations to ensure the perfect fit. We’ll be happy to guide you on this during your appointment.
Do you offer alterations?
Yes – all done in-house by Carolyn and our talented team, who have many years of couture alterations experience. From simple tweaks to custom enhancements, we’ll ensure your gown fits you beautifully.
Can I take photos during my appointment?
Of course! Some brides love to capture the moment, while others prefer to stay fully present. Our advice? Only take photos of the dresses that are true contenders – otherwise your camera roll may get overwhelming.
What happens if I say yes to the dress?
Cue the happy tears! Once you’ve found your gown, we’ll take your measurements, talk you through the ordering process, and explain what happens next – including timelines and alterations. Then it’s time to celebrate!
